markAsRead stops working on both iOS and android, iOS delegates issues (background case)

1. markAsRead stops working on both iOS and android, the count in getUnreadMessageCountForGroup never updates.
   I am getting success in markAsRead but getting count never reset to 0 in getUnreadMessageCountForGroup.
   FYI - this was working fine before

2. Whenever iOS app remains in background for sometime and then become active the delegates stops working not getting called like onTextMessageReceived.
