I’ve 2 questions regarding Mention extension notifications
In group chat,
1- Is there any provision for mentions (one receiver) notifications? as currently i am getting notifications for all messages in the group and found no option to switch it to mentions only (I need notifications only when user mentioned someone). Also i was going through doc and found this
2- Comet Chat support mentions like (@here/@all) for all receivers?
The setting to receive just the notifications with mentions has to be done by the Users or to be more specific, at the client or using the SDK. This cannot be enforced globally via the Extension’s settings. One thing that can be done is, you can toggle this Allow only mentions setting as soon as the user logs in.
Currently, there is no support for @here/@all mentions.
