Does the profanity support regular (regex) expression? or only text?

Currently our profanity filter extension only supports text.
You can visit extensions section from Cometchat Dashboard and within settings, either add your custom words or use the default list provided by us.
Currently, CometChat Pro does not provide the regular expression feature in profanity filter. You can create a thread in the feature request section of the forum. This section is monitored by our product team. Once you create a thread in the forum, the product team can then decide when this feature needs to be taken up and provide you with an update regarding the same.
