User displayed multiple times in call

Hello,

We are using JavaScript SDK chat@2.1.6 for our Angular 1 app and "@cometchat-pro/cordova-ionic-chat": "^2.1.1" and "@cometchat-pro/ionic-calls": "0.0.6" for our Ionic app.

We had some instances in which the call was initiated by an user logged into the Angular 1 app and accepted by an user logged into the Ionic app (Android OS to be precise) but in the actual call window the call recipient was displayed multiple times. Why could this happen?

Thank you,
MIhaela

Hello @MihaelaCazan,

Can you please update the SDKs to the latest version and check if you are still facing this issue?

I am listing the latest version of each of the SDK you mentioned below:

@cometchat-pro/chat: 2.2.1
@cometchat-pro/cordova-ionic-chat: 2.2.1
@cometchat-pro/ionic-calls: 0.0.8

Warm Regards,

CometChat Pro

Hello @mayur.bhandari ,

We will try the upgrade to see if that resolves our issue.

Thank you,
Mihaela

Hello @mayur.bhandari ,

We tried upgrading to the latest CometChat SDK for the Ionic app as suggested, but we encountered some issues when we tried to deploy the app for iOS devices (on Android all seems ok). Please see screen shots below, we can not create the build, when we do “npx cap add ios” the error below is happening :

We already tried the solutions suggested in here: Search results for 'none of your spec sources contain' - CometChat Forum but ended up with the following error (same error):

We then reverted the upgrade and redeployed the app using the SDK version that we initially used and the build operation worked (so we did not have the errors highlighted above).

Is there anything that we are missing so that we can do the SDK upgrade?

Thank you,
Mihaela

Hello,

 We were also successful in upgrading to a version prior to the one suggested. Is there anything that we can do to stop receiving the error message when trying to upgrade to the latest as suggested?

Best,
Mihaela
